Satalitte collects as little as it can get away with. Here is exactly what that means.
Using Satalitte without an account
The board and the map browser work with no account at all. If you never sign in, we do not store anything about you — no profile, no usage metrics, no advertising identifiers.
What we store if you create an account
Accounts are optional and exist only so your data can follow you between devices. If you register, we store the email address you sign up with and the display name you choose. Authentication is handled by Supabase on our behalf.
Signing in sets a session cookie so you stay signed in between visits. It is strictly functional — it is not used for advertising or profiling. Sign out and it is cleared.
Your strategy boards stay on your machine
Everything you draw on the board — routes, utility placements, annotations — lives in your browser and is never uploaded. Close the tab and it is gone. When cloud saving ships it will be opt-in, and this page will be updated before it does.
No trackers, no advertising
There are no third-party tracking pixels, marketing cookies, advertising networks or analytics scripts running on this site. Nothing about your session is sold or shared.
We count visits, and only visits
We keep a count of how many people open the site and which pages they open, because otherwise we are building this blind. It is our own counter, not a service we hand your visit to, and it is built to answer how many without ever answering who.
It sets no cookie. It stores no IP address, no account link and no browser fingerprint. What it records is the page you opened, the country your connection came from, and a one-way hash of your address and browser mixed with a secret that changes at midnight. That hash cannot be turned back into you, and tomorrow the same visit produces a different one — so it can tell that two page opens an hour apart were the same person, and it cannot tell that you were also here yesterday.
These counts are deleted after 90 days.
No Riot API integration
We do not connect to the Riot Games API. You are never asked for your Riot ID, and we do not read, import or analyse your match history. Everything in Satalitte is drawn by you.
Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it at any time. Reach us in Discord and we will remove it.
